Detailed Answer:
thanks for asking in chm.
myself DR AWADHESH P XXXXXXX SOLANKI.

MAO INHIBITORS that means monoamineoxidase inhibitors.
this is a group of drugs that inhibit the enzyme monoamineoxidase which causes the metabolism of neurotransmitters like nor epinephrine, adrenaline, dopamine and serotonin.
these neurotransmitters increase the cheerfulness in mind. in simple language these drugs are helpful to remove depression and anxiety.

these drugs are having lots of serious side effects like serotonin syndrome, cheese reaction and also interact with other drugs.
this is the reason why these drugs are rarely used.
these drugs are used mainly in parkinson's disease patient and when other drugs fail.

you have not given your history. so i am not able to find, why you want to take these drugs.

if you are having depression than first take sertaline or escitalopram.
for anxiety first try paroxetine cr or benzodiazepines.
drugs which are safe and having more potent than mao i.

i will suggest you "do not take MAO I " as these drugs are having serious side effects.. most of the drugs of this group are already banned.
first try above drugs.

please give me your complete history to understand your disease for which you want to take it.

hope my answer helped you.
i wish you lots of happiness in life and good health.

take care
