What Is Morgellons Disease?
Question: it started with what looks like black specks n bug bites on my arm. I was at the lake when I noticed them so I didn't worry. before I knew it I had what look like bites everywhere, like bed bugs or scabies with no itch. I am an RN and exposed to many people. I got the next appointment to the dermatologist who did a biopsy which showed superficial and deep neutrophils and eosinophils in the tissue due to an allergic reaction to possibly a bug, medication, environmental allergy. After reading everything, the only thing that it seems like was something called Morgellons which is controversial and primary doctors send most patients to psych doctor or told that they have delusions of parasitosis. have you ever heard of Morgellons? its been almost 2 years and still get these bumps, sores that have these black dots and are scarring so bad that I wear long pants and a jacket in Florida weather. cognitively, my memory is abnormal, pretty much short term memory, balance is off, flat affect, depression, panic attacks, difficult word recall, sensory perception is off, and I could keep going. it does seem to be associated and flare up with my emotions and I had recently had my first full body massage which some people have said they got a rash afterwards. tried topical steroids, doxycycline, oral steroids, and everything over the counter you can imagine. I even went homeopathic. Have you ever heard of anything like this? any ideas how to get rid of these lesions? I had to quit my job and I'm not getting any better. I need help. XXXXXXX

Morgellons is a disease that has been created in bioweapons lab, - it got loose,

It is rather far fetched to believe that a even tempered head strong RN like yourself could be a Paranoid schizophrenic. And even if you were to persist in your
"delusional" beliefs of "infestation" then it would be considered as a "cultural supersition"

1) Kindly take Olanzapine/Fluoxetine combination. low dose. Olanzapine not more than 2.5mg and Fluoxetine not more than 10mg / day that is.
2) Before you even Google away and yell in protest that these are psychiatric drugs given to the limbo of those who have lost their marbles... let me point out to you the DOSAGE. ANY DRUG BEHAVES TOTALLY DIFFERENTLY WITH THE HOST GIVEN THE DOSE. THUS AT THE RIGHT DOSE, THE DRUG IS A MEDICINE, AT THE WRONG DOSE, THE DRUG IS INEFFECTIVE AND EVEN A POISON.

My doc wont give me olanzapine...he talked about Risperdal and that its a horrible drug
He did not want to give me anything from that class of drugs. Is Zyprexa different than Risperdal? He said that i should not take my ADDERALL - OMG! I have this problem before I started taking adderall.is olanzapine and wellbutrin ok to take together? Hesaid that he would give me the paxil when I came in to see him he called me back, I don't see him till the end of the month. what I have to take the paxil for a long time?

Do you not think that Paxil taken by itself a great drug for this? I would say so, yet, I have my reservations. In this case, I would ask you to take Risperdal, wait!, at 0.5 mg a day twice a day. These are mouth dissolving tablets with a lemony flavor.
The Risperdal your doctor is asking you to take is in the range of 2 mg to 6 mg. That's 4 to 12 times the dose that I recommend.
Now, this is a perfect solution. Both you, and you local doctor win. Here, you won't even feel the slightest effects of risperdal at 0.5 mg dosages.
It'll work.
