Question : I have been taken 15 mg oxycodone for about 6 years due to back and neck injuries I also have lung cancer that is spreading I went to see my pain doctor today he took the 15 mg oxycodone 4 times a day to 3 times a day and added oxymoron one 10 mg 2 times a day what's the difference ??im sorry I don't have a credit card , I will have to look it up myself trying to be cautious . But thank you

The answer to your question is that oxymorphone, the new medication you were given, is exactly twice as strong as your old medicine oxycodone.

10 mg of oxymorphone is equivalent to 20 mg of oxycodone.

So with your new medication, you will need less pain medication to have the same or better effect.
