Question : why can I only take 1 Zyrtec a day, I had one at noon, and now my eyes are itchy and runny again

I am Dr Anshul Varshney.
Zyrtec contains Cetrizine that is an anti hitaminic drug and is usually taken 10 mg / day.
Taking it in excessive dose can cause extreme sedation and effects remains the same.
I would like to know following to help you better:
1. Since when are you having running nose?
2. Any sneezing?
3. Any fever associated?
4. Any pain in throat?
5. Any headache?

Dr. Varshney,
I did some gardening Sunday and I believe one of the plants I trimmed, had some
white (like milk) i got on my hands, but due to my getting sweaty, i might have wiped my face, even though I washed my hands immediately.
It started last night, no sneezing, no pain, no headache and no fever just very sore runny eyes and nose.

This seems to be Allergic response to some plant.
I would suggest you to take Tab Allegra (Fexofenadine) 120 mg twice a day for three days.
This would give you immense relief. In case you also have itching over your body that might also be due to allergy, it would also get relived.
