Question : What is cardiac ablation and its recommended for patient with EF 25~?

                                    Brief Answer:
Depends on indications
Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXXX
Cardiac ablation is done in case of arrhythmias, when it is not possible to cease the arrhythmia medically. It is a procedure, during which the physician enters a tiny wire into the patient's heart and stops the arrhythmia with some small impulses.
Patients with low ejection fraction have elevated risk for any cardiac procedure, but if the patient has the specific type arrhythmia with the indications of ablation, we can go for the ablation, as the benefits can be more that the side effects.
Hope I could help you

Welcome back
Detailed Answer:
Dear Mrs,
The treatment for severe heart failure and dilated cardiomyopathy is the standard medical treatment that your mother receives. She has already received CRTD+ICD, which is one of the best options worldwide, the next step is assist device as a bridge in patients who are planned for heart transplantation.
There are some medications, such as Levosimendan, which can improve ejection fraction a little, but they are not proved yet and they don't improve life expectancy.
Take care
