Question : What is life expectancy after whipples surgery?
Brief answer...given below
Detailed answer...
Hello,
Thanks for the query.
I have read your query and understand your concern.
WHIPPLE'S procedure is done for pancreatic cancers which are generally confined to pancreas and not extended beyond it.
A successful Whipple's surgery has a survival rate of appox. 20-25% at the end of five years.
I hope it helps, however you are most welcome to ask any other query.
Best of luck
Thanks
