Question: I just had an MRCP ABDOMEN WITHOUT CONTRAST AND THE FINDINGS WERE

KIDNEYS: Tiny cyst in the lower pole of the left kidney.
Should I be concerned?

Stomach, small bowel, and Colon: Small umbilical hernia contains omental fat.
Should I be concerned?

Hi,

I'd ask to have all your MRCP report for a more specific judgement.

1. If you do not have any symptom, the tiny cysts found in your left kidney are not of concern. They might be there since birth or might have developed with time.

2. Omentum is the layer that insulates all the abdominal organs. Omentum consists of fat. That is normal. If the fat is in excessiveness, then, might be suggestive of belly fat (also if it correlates with clinical findings of obesity or being overweight).
