Brief Answer:
Travelers Diarrhea
Detailed Answer:
Dear Friend.
Hi , I am Dr Anshul Varshney , I have read your query in detail , I understand your concern.
Let me tell you very clearly that only rising titres of Widal are suggestive of
typhoid fever. Because we eat a lot outside, we get a many times subclinical infection with
Salmonella Typhi, that is not symptomatic, but produces
antibodies, that can be detected in
Widal test even for many weeks.
Since you don't have any fever. There are almost nil chances that you have Typhoid.
Your history is classically suggestive of Traveler's Diarrhea or Abdominal Upset due to eating outside.
In such cases, i advice antibiotics if diarrhea is still persisting.
You might take a combination of Ofloxacin and
Tinidazole.
Also, you should take a Probiotic like Bifilac.
Consume lots of fluids and Oral Rehydration Solution.
If your weakness persists even after these medications, you should get a Liver Function Test done.
This is my personal opinion based on details available here. If you still have any query you may please ask me.
Stay Healthy.
Dr Anshul Varshney , MD
