Detailed Answer:
Hi and Welcome to "Ask A Doctor" service. Thanks for using this app. I have read your question and here is my advice.
Anastrazole is an aromatase inhibitor which prevents conversion of androgens to estrogens and is used as adjunct in cancer chemotherapy. It comes in one milligram.
The dose is 1 mg to be taken daily once a day.
The duration is not exactly known but depends on disease. Generally it is continued until the tumour regresses. May be used upto 5 years.
The drug may be taken on empty stomach or with food and be taken any time of the day.
Hopes I have answered your question. Let me know if you have any further questions about it. I would be glad to answer your question.
Kind regards
Dr Rahman
