Many companies make alprazolam, Pfizer markets in the name of Xanax and is white colour. The yellow "bars" may be from other company or with different dose.

See the content and dosage, if both are same then you can continue the drug. Although some may take time before they have any effect. But basically there is no difference in two pills if they have the same medication.

So you can consult the pharmacyst to select the original drug or to enquire its contents.
