Question : have you ever heard of ' renewcol colon water' it is a probiotic . we recieved the ad in the mail. my wife needs something daily to help her stay regular. she is 84 yrs. of age.

This product is a kind of laxative sold exclusively by the company mainly through internet.
Since they don't disclose properly the content we don't personally advise to our patients.
For constipation you can give her natural laxative powders OTC products like Isabgulla husk, Softovac powder.
If the constipation is severe using Lactulose would be of help.
As far as using a pro biotic best natural probiotic is Curd.
If you want supplement probiotic you can give her Vizylac or Bifilac capsules.
No doctor would suggest you to go for the product you have mentioned.
