Hi,
Watery eyes is non specific complaint. What other symptoms do you have beside eye watering? Is it one side or on both side? I would like to know if eye is hurting? If there is burning sensation or redness in the eyes?
How long is your eyes watering?
Are you running fever, body pain or weakness?
Please answer to all my questions and if there are any other complaints besides those. It will help me to address the concern better.

It is a intermittent problem and it has been 2 years now since it started.
Brief Answer:
Consider an eye check up....
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
The common causes of eye watering are allergies and infections. But since you do not have associated complaints and the problem is chronic, other possibilities include eye straining secondary to computer usage, refractory errors and other local conditions. It is difficult to predict the precise cause without an eye exam. Therefore I recommend visiting an ophthalmologist for evaluation.
In the meanwhile, I suggest use of ciplox D eye drops along with an eye lubricant such as moisol eye drops. Ciplox D eye drops twice daily and moisol thrice.
The aforementioned treatment will be changed after an ophthalmology consultation.
Hope this helps. Let me know if you need clarifications.
