Brief Answer:
No hard and fast rules...

Detailed Answer:
The benefits of green tea have only come to light in the recent years. Therefore as per my knowledge there are no real guidelines/studies that prove one particular time of the day is most appropriate time for green tea. You can take it anytime of the day. That being said, as most people consider green tea for detoxification and weight management, I would suggest you take it post breakfast - before lunch period say around 11 AM as well as in the evening post dinner say around 6 - 7 PM.

As far as hyperacidity is concerned, more than green tea, you should concentrate on better diet and life style. I recommend the following:
1. Eat regularly and timed meals; Never skip food.
2. Avoid all hot and spicy food. This will be particularly important as you stay in XXXXXXX where most food are spiced.
3. Stop smoking and alcohol if any.
4. Rest adequately.
5. Start physical exercise. Yoga and mediation are good stress busters which will help you.
6. Keep your weight in ideal limits.

Proton pump inhibitor/antacid drugs will be helpful if symptoms are severe. You can get this prescribed by your local doctor.

Hope this helps. Let me know if you need clarifications.
