Brief Answer:
Antibiotic, liquid diet...

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

1. With regards to diverticulitis, it can cause loose stools, abdominal pain even fever.
2. Your symptoms may be related to diverticulitis.
3. The best treatment in such cases is antibiotic therapy, liquid diet, and probiotics.

In my opinion, you should use:
- Ciprofloxacin plus Metronidazole like antibiotic therapy for up to 7 days (these are prescription based medications)
- Probiotics
- Take plenty of water
- Avoid legumes and solid foods for a couple of days.

Hope it was helpful to you. Let me know if I can assist you further.
