Question: Weight:

I am 5'0" and weigh around 140lbs, as a teenager woman.
That is overweight. **

I am 20lbs overweight and I need to know if I should loose weight and if so, whats the best way...(specifics, like diet plan and workout)

Some things you should note:
I am a rower - I row 5 days a week
I do not eat healthily - mainly carbs and fruit and drink less than 16 floz of water
**I do not appear fat, but chubby**

If you exercise 5 days a week then it is possible that the extra weight is due to increased muscle bulk and not necessarily due to increased body fat. This is why I would recommend that you get a body composition testing monthly.. it can be performed in most gyms and it analyzes your body contents and provides you with information about the portions of fats and muscles in your body.

However, it is important that you eat healthy by cutting off on all the junk foods, sweets, and fizzy drinks and gradually replacing them with vegetables, fruits, natural juices and whole wheat snacks. It is also important to keep yourself adequately hydrated by drinking around eight to ten cups of water daily.
