Question : my 2 year old now has loose motion and is complaining of stomach pain..... he has loose mucousy stool... i was giving him enterogermina since last 2days....Advice what would help him...he hasn't been able to sleep well and at times is being cranky... Also, could you suggest his diet plan too...

Brief Answer: Relax. Detailed Answer: Hi thanks for your query. I understand your concern. Relax.there, is nothing to worry. Acute enteritis is mostly viral in nature and settles in few days. Most important is to maintain and monitor hydration. Continue with probiotic XXXXXXX Give oral dehydration solution sip by sip after each loose stools. Give lemonade,coconut water,rice porridge,banana,boiled potato, curd. Watch for features of dehydration like lethargy /refusal of feed/deceased urine output and in case you observe any get him examined by pediatrician to see for features of dehydration. thanks a lots.... Can you also tell me how many times should he urinate... he has CMPA and so is on Soya milk (Nusobee) .... he urinates more when he has milk ..... when should I worry... his stomach is a bit hard and passes gas too.... he is not eating well too.... has chicku and papaya for fruits...Can I give that? also suji kheer and oats... Can that be given too?
