Brief Answer: please meet another ent doctor Detailed Answer: Hello From your complaints and what your doctors advice i think you maybe having what is called as styalgia or eagle's syndrome , which is basically an enlargement of a normal bone called styloid process. There is no medical management of this condition and surgery is the best option to get relief from the symptoms. I would like to know if any Ct scan or X ray was done for you and if yes, what was the report and if you could upload the images for me to see. You can also meet another Ent doctor if you are not satisfied with the first ones opinion , he will examine you and guide you further. Take care
