What Is The Cause And Treatment For Folliculitis Over The Groin

Question: At first i thought i got a bug bite or something, but now i see more little look alike pimples pop up. What is it? Im worried? I XXXXXXX currently have a uti and im just hurting down there.

I understand your concern regarding your skin problem and I hope I am able to help you in the same.
I have seen the attached pictures .
I can see that you have two red inflammed lesions over the groin region.
But I would like to know certain more details from you.
Since when do you have these?
Are there only two lesions or are there more of these?
Any associated pain or itching or discharge?
Did they appear after shaving?
Any recent outside contact? If yes, how much time prior to development of these?
Are you applying anything over them? Any creams or oils?

There are 4. I only noticed 1 then I realized I had another. I havent put anything on them. I just sat in warm water. Ive had them for about 4 days now. I did notice it after shaving but i thought it was a bug bite. It doesnt really itch unless im wearing under wear .

Folliculitis over groin, common in hot weather

Detailed Answer:
You seem to have developed skin lesions of folliculitis .
You need to keep the affected area clean and dry.
You can continue with sitz bath.
In addition, you should apply a topical antibiotic cream like neosporin or mupirocin over the affected areas twice a day.
Do not apply any other cream or oil over it.
Wear cotton undergarments so as to reduce both sweating and friction .

Since you are continuing to develop more lesions, I would suggest you to kindly click some good resolution close up images of the lesions and upload them here on this page.
The previous pictures are not very clear.
Also please tell if you have noticed any fluid filled lesions or any open lesions with discharge .
Do you have any pain?
Did you start the treatment with antibiotic agents?
