Brief Answer: Follows. Detailed Answer: Dear Sir, Thank you for posting your query on XXXXXXX Well looking into the query I will like to tell you that hemorrhoids usually present with painless, bright red, rectal bleeding during or following a bowel movement Sometimes when they get thrombosed, hemorrhoids may be very painful. Large hemorrhoids may produce irritation of the surrounding skin and thus itchiness around the anus but bleeding is generally present along with these. Since you do not give anty history of bleeding it is unlikely to be hemorrhoids . You will need to see a surgeon for this as Hemorrhoids are typically diagnosed by physical examination . Probably a rectal examintion will also be required. Sometimes anoscopy is required for it . So see a doctor early for this . Take care. Dr. Shruti Take care. Dr. Shruti
