Brief Answer:
Urinary infection

Detailed Answer:
Hi, Thanks for writing..
I understand your concern..

Do you have any symptoms like burning micturition or pain abdomen?
Get a repeat urine culture if she is symptomatic. From the earlier culture report, amikacin has a lower sensitivity as compared to meropenem and pipperacillin/tazobactum. Repeat course of antibiotics is required if she is symptomatic based on culture sensitivity report.Discuss about this with your treating doctor.

If she is asymptomatic, repeat urine RE after 1 week.To decrease urinary infection drink lots of oral fluids, frequent micturition, intake of fruits and fruit juices like orange , lime, watermelon.

Get a vaginal swab test to see for infection. It should be simultaneously treated.

Hope I have answered your query. Feel free to ask any doubts.. Good day.

Brief Answer:
Dont worry..

Detailed Answer:
Hi, thanks for writing..
Its not a serious condition but needs to be treated if it is symptomatic as it can cause preterm labour and premature rupture of membranes.

The urinary infection is not getting cured. The reasons can be decreased sensitivity of amikacin as compared to other drugs or decreased efficacy of the drug taken or it can also be a reinfection.

Recurrent UTI can lead to kidney problems rarely. In pregnancy it can cause vaginal infection leading to premature rupture of membranes and preterm labour.

Dont worry, as I said earlier repeat a urine culture and if she is symptomatic need to take another course of antibiotics. If asymptomatic wait for a week and repeat the urine routine again.

Hope I have answered your queries. If you dont have any doubts, please close the conversation and rate my answer.. Good day.
