Brief Answer:
different possible causes

Detailed Answer:
Hi, thanks for using healthcare magic

Sweating helps the body to lose heat, this is part of thermoregulation (control and management of body temperature).

In hyperhidrosis- there is sweating in excess of that required for thermoregulation.

Although it can affect any area, most commonly affects the axilla, soles of the feet and palms.

Hyperhidrosis may be secondary to: (1) METABOLIC DISORDERS :hyperthyroidism, diabetes, low blood sugar, gout, menopause, obesity

(2)febrile conditions- conditions such as infection that are associated with fever

(3)side effect of medication- meds should be crosschecked. There are quite a number of medications that can cause this symptom to occur.

(4)unfortunately can occur in some cancers

(5)due to alcohol use

(6)neurological conditions such as parkinsons, stroke, spinal cord injury, infection of the spinal cord

(7)can also occur in heart disease

(8)autoimmune conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis

(9)lymphoma

These are some of the causes of hyperhidrosis. If you are having symptoms, then an evaluation by a dermatologist may be helpful in finding the cause and initiating treatment.

I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
