Brief Answer:
They're widely used to detect HIV.

Detailed Answer:
Hello Xyz and welcome to HCM.
As an Urologist,i can understand your anxiety.

The eia and c mia tests are done, to detect HIV P24antigen and antibody levels.
The antigen levels are detectable,in 4 days time after exposure.
They'll remain positive up to 1 month.

The antibody levels are detectded in one months time.
They're both accurate in detection of HiV and used worldwide.

Hope your doubts are cleared.

Brief Answer:
Reliable report 4 days after sexual exposure.

Detailed Answer:
Hi Xyz,

The correct report can be expected,in 4 days after sexual exposure.
Whether fever was due to HIV,is difficult to comment.

You can re-check the report,in that period of time and get a reliable report.

Wishing you well.

Brief Answer:
Repeat the test if in doubt.

Detailed Answer:
Hi Xyz,

The test is accurate for a period of one month.
If the exposure was in the period 4 days prior to testing,it's very reliable.
If you're in any doubt, you can always repeat the test and confirm your status.

Wish you well.
