Question : What is the difference between Mefenamic Acid and Ibuprofen? Which of the two is better for toothache?

                                    Brief Answer:
They are of the same class!
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
They are of the same class. The only difference is the name but the actions are the same. I will say go with Ibuprofen because sit is more easily available and has been used for long periods. Also, add Tylenol to this drug so as to get best possible results for pain control.
I wish you well and feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.

Hi again. Thank you for your reply.
I was advised to take antibiotics (Amoxicillin - Vhellox 500 mg) 3x a day for 7 days for my tooth. However, I felt something different after taking the antibiotic. I'm not really sure if it's fatigue or body ache. I'm guessing it's the side effet of the antibiotic. My tooth doesn't hurt now but can I take Paracetamol for my fatigue/body pain?

YEs, you can!
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Am so sorry to hear about this fatigue. My guess is that is is probably a side effect from the amoxicillin. However, you would get better as the treatment continues. Feel free to take Tylenol for the pains. I also recommend enough rest, good diet full of fruits and vegetables as well as regular physical exercise on most days of the week.
I wish you well.
