Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for posting query.
I went through the patient history and understood your concern.

Pansec-DSR contains an additional drug that was NOT present in Pantocid ( pantoprazole).

Pansec-DSR contains "Domeperidone" and "Pantoprazole".
"Domeperidone" enhances the motility of stomach . This Prevents Food From Staying In the stomach For Too Long. It also prevents regurgitation of food into the Food Pipe ( esophagus). Domperidone also treats nausea / vomiting.

If Pansec-DSR is causing untoward symptoms and she is NOT feeling any heartburn or reflux symptoms , she may switch back to Pantocid ( after discussing with treating physician).

She may also get tested for H.pylori ( "Urea Breath Test)", if not done yet, to exclude H.pylori infection in stomach.

Hope to answer your concern.
Further questions are most welcome.

Wish her good and sound health.
Regards
Dr Tayyab Malik
