So what is the difference between contious and pulsating. Is it just as safe
Brief Answer:
See below!
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
With pulsating, it only delivers oxygen when you breath. This means that oxygen will not flow if you fail to breath. This will make oxygen no to finish quickly when not being used. However, if you are such a person who requires oxygen because you cannot breath on your own, pulsating would not be good for you. I will recommend that you go for continuous.
If you simple need oxygen because the lungs are not at their best, then pulsating is okay.
I wish you well.

So if I have no need for oxergyn on the ground and I can breath on my own, pulsating should be fine right. My blood gas is normal and my average saturation is 97-98. Plus I'm sure they must carry emergency oxergyn as well
Also I do use cpap machine would that's dry make a difference
