While UTIs and prostate cancer have some symptoms in common, such as frequent urination, pain and burning upon urination, blood in urine, in prostate cancer, there is particularly a change in urine flow (weak or slow), difficulty starting or ending the urination, blood in the seminal fluid, as well as pain on sitting due to an enlarged prostate.
