Brief Answer:
I am really sorry to hear this; unfortunately my prescription will not help

Detailed Answer:
Hello sir and welcome.

Thank you for writing to us.

I have gone through your query with diligence and would like you to know that I am here to help. I am extremely sorry to hear this. This practise of being extra careful with prescribing such medications to patients was introduced due to some bad apples (patients) who began abusing such medications for recreational purposes.

This sadly resulted in many patients who really needed such medications to have to be carefully filtered and at times even have to do without these most necessary medications. I am really sorry to hear you have to experience this as well. But why did you have to change your doctor?

If you were on this medication since you were 19 years old, why did you change the doctor who understood your requirements and used to prescribe an amount that was sufficient for you? Can you not get in touch with that doctor once again? Can you not ask that doctor to speak to your current doctor? Or do you not have an older prescription from your previous doctor who used to prescribe you sufficient amounts of ativan?

Because your current doctor may take some time till he believes you and trusts you enough to know that you are not abusing these medications, and that you really need them. So please do try to either get in touch with your previous doctor, or ask him/her to contact your current one, or get an older prescription to show your current doctor that you were on a larger dosage previously.

I cannot even begin to imagine what you are going through, but please try your best to be patient and find a way out of this sir. I am here with you, please try to be strong sir.

Unfortunately I cannot write you a prescription for ativan as I do not live in the same country as you do, and even if I did, no pharmacy in your country would accept it as it will not be legal or accepted. I look forward to hearing from you in order to help you further. Please do not hesitate to write back to me for any further clarifications, I am always here to help.

Best wishes.
