Question: I am 51 years old and an alcoholic. Dr. Chef he discussed with me about the effectiveness of naltrexone taken with Campral. I also have taken gabapentin when I was in rehab what I need to know is how many milligrams of each of the drug and how many times a day? I am going to the doctor here on Friday but he is A physicians assistant and will not know

There are a variety of doses of these medications, not one specific dose that should be taken, so there is not a simple answer here. The physicians assistant you will be meeting with DOES know what doses of medications might be right for you, and will discuss this is detail with you prior to prescribing them. Naltrexone is usually 25-50mg a day, Campral is usually 666mg three times a day, and gabapentin has a large range of possibilities, from 300-1000mg three times a day.
