Question : I am having sexual relations with different woman , as i dont want any HIV problem , i researched on the internet and found out about PrEP Truvada Medication and its resistance against HIV , so can i use this medication ? If i can then what doasge and how much time before sex should i use it ?
I would like your suggestion and input on this pleae

Thanks for posting your query.
First of all, I would like you to know certain facts regarding PrEP. PrEP is mainly meant for MSM (men sex with men), and also for HIV nonreactive partners of HIV positive individuals( discordant couple). Not for hetrosexual promiscuous individuals.
PrEP is highly effective, but not 100% safe. It has to be taken regularly for months or years, not on demand basis. Possibility of resistance is there if taken intermittently.
The dose is single tablet daily at bed time.
Safe sex (with condoms) is always better.
