Question : I am having a terrible panic attack due to the loss of a family member. I took 60mg of Oxycodone 5 and a half hours ago, 60mg of Cymbalta 4 hours ago, 800mg of Motrin 4 hours ago and 1mg of Xanax 1 hour ago. I am still having a horrible panic attack in tears all alone. My question is can I take anymore Xanax? I am a Male, 5' 10" tall, weigh 245lbs and have a high tolerance to Xanax.

Thanks again for posting at healthcaremagic.

As suggested earlier you can take one more miligram of Xanax as maximum dose of xanax is 3 mg for any adult of your age and even additional one mg will make it to only two mg. I mean to say that it is safe from xanax point of view but I feel if you continue in this manner there is substantial risk of development of toxicity as amnesia following use of xanax is potential risk.

In such a way on some day you may ingest more than what you intend to so and that may result in toxicity.

I feel it is ripe time to get yourself on SSRI group of medications as they are the definite mode of treatment for panic attacks.
