Question : need advise on the routine deworming for my 2 kids one 6 year old and the other 2 year old.

I bought Zeebee 10ml oral suspension 200mg/5ml

pls advise the dosage for the kids.

it's > 1 year since the last dosage administered.

Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

Zeebee contains albendazole which is a fixed dose drug while most others depend upon the weight of the child. For albendazole, for children above 8kg or 1 year, the dose is 400 mg once, to be repeated after 14 days, same as that in adults. So, for both your children, the dose would be 10 ml of the syrup. It is preferable to repeat the dose after 14 days although it is not mandatory. You can deworm at yearly intervals.
