Question : does"ipratropium bromide" effect blood pressure since it is bromide?
Brief Answer:
Ipratroprium is an Anticholinergic, drops the BP
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for the query
Ipratropium bromide is actually an Anticholinergic. The Bromide base that forms the stable salt is inactive. So overall, the drug causes a fall in blood pressure.
However at doses which are usually prescribed we don't see any significant change in blood pressure.
