Hello and thanks for your question. Olives and olive oil have a lot of vitamin K. Vitamin K can reverse the effects of coumadin and make it less effective. If you only eat an occasional olive or two it is not a problem, but if you are on coumadin it would be better not to eat large amounts of olives at one time. Thank you for using HCM.
