Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXX,
Thanks for writing in to us.

I have read through your query in detail.
Please find my observations below.

1. As per health policies, anti rabies neutralizing antibody titre of 0.5 IU/ ml or more in serum is considered safe and protective.

2. The above antibody level is reached at about 30 days from the start of vaccination in a 0, 3, 7 vaccination schedule.

3. After 1 year the booster is given to maintain antibody level above 0.5 IU/ ml for adequate protection.

Please feel free to correct any oversight in my interpretation of your problems and discuss them in detail as per your requirements.

Hope your query is answered.
Do write back if you have any doubts.

Brief Answer:
The antibody level will be higher than 0.5 IU/ ml after 0, 3, 7 vaccination

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXX,
Thanks for writing back with an update.

1. The lower limit is 0.5 IU/ ml after 0, 3, 7 vaccination and it is always higher than that. All clinical trials have shown that the antibody level will surely be above 0.5 IU/ ml following the 0, 3, 7 vaccination dose schedule for rabies.

Hope your query is answered.

Brief Answer:
Pre exposure immunity means you are already protected

Hi XXXX,
Thanks for writing back with an update.

1. Pre exposure immunity means that you are protected from rabies before hand. If you have a dog bite after taking pre exposure vaccination then the antibody levels are already above 0.5 IU/ ml and you are protected and taking booster with enhance your immunity.
