My Dear,
Thanks for dending your query to us.
Fluid in the retina is in two places,one in the seeing areaknown as macula.When this happens you have difficulty in seeing and a loss of central vision.
Fluid in the peripheral area is a precursor to detachment of retina and is usually un noticed by the patient.
