Question : My mom took a Ativan sub lingual at 8:00 a.m. this morning for anxiety and she is still anxious it is 1 mg. how long should she wait before she can take another one?

Ativan containing lorazepam can be taken as 2-3 mg tablets every 8 hours. The total dose should not exceed 10 mg over 24 hours.
