Question : is cialis 5 mg daily the same as cialis 10 -20 mg "as needed" except for dosage? If I need an asneeded dose can i simply take 2 5mg tablets ?

you can but smaller dosage is recommended

Detailed Answer:
Hi and welcome to HCM.

Cialis is tadalafil which is medications thta causes dilatation of penile veins and erection,similar to viagra. 5mg 10mf or 20mg of cialis are all made of same ingredient,there is just different dosage. It is always beter in the beginning to try with smallest dosage,5mg for example and then increase dosage if necessary. since if you increase it to maximum,then it won have effect anymore and resistancy may develop. of course, if 5mg doesnt work then you can take 10mg,or 2x5mg, or if there is still no effect you can take maximally 20mg at once.
Of course, you should check your blood pressure before taking it. if there is low bp,you should not take cialis.
