Question: I take morphine for ops on my right lung what I woild like to find out is what is a high or low dose of mgs have heard so muth just would like to know for sure thanks XXXXX

There is no toxic dose for this drug. We give as much as it is needed to address the pain of the patient. Some people need more while many others need little. The only thing that would limit further increase in dose is that you develop respiratory depression which is a well documented side effect of this.
