Yes,can be fatal.40 mg dose may cause death.

Hi,
Thanks for asking on HCM.

I have read your query and understand the concern.

There is no specific dose by which we can say death occurs.

It depends on the last intake, age, body structure, weight and co-morbid physical illness and concurrent medicines of Restyl (aplrazolam).

However,even 20 mg dose can be fatal to a old patient with hypertension and diabetes.

And the same 20 mg dose can be tolerated by patient who is addicted and dependent to Restyl (alprazolam).

As you asked about 40 tablets of 1mg (means total 40 mg dose),it can be fatal for the person of diabetes,fatty liver and high BP (hypertension).
