Question: My husband was diagnosed with alcoholic fatty liver on XXXXXXX 6,2014. He still won't eat, won't quit drinking (Budweiser since teenager), vomiting stopped about July,can't walk how much longer does he have

By the symptoms that you refer probably Fatty Liver has progressed
to liver cirrhosis.

It is recommended to do as soon as possible an Abdomen Ultrasound and blood tests for measurement of liver enzymes (AST, ALT ...).

Of course, should be discontinued as soon as possible his alcoholic habit.

Go to your doctor for request additional test and for prescription of anxiolytic (it is recommended to treat alcohol withdrawal syndrome).
