Question : What is the meaning of this CT Scan (Brain and Head) report?
1. Chronic lacunar infarcts seen at bilateral parietal lobes in paraventricular regions and left external capsule.
2. Chronic peri & paraventricular white matter ischaemic changes, extending to bilateral corona radiata & centrum semiovale.
3. Age-related Neurodegenerative changes.

Dear sir, I have gone through your question and I understand your concerns but these changes of the brain are seen normally in old age patients, related of coarse to the ageing process. As long as the patient does not suffer from any neurological symptoms as difficult speaking, walking or doing the normal activities, there is no need to worry about.
