Question : What is the optimum dose of NORFLOX TZ for 68 yer old ,male, physically fit, but having problem of loose motion after gap of 7-8 days, but controlled by 1 or 2 tablets of above medicine.

The optimum dose of Norflox-TZ is:
to be taken twice a day, preferably at 12 hourly gap and after having some food. So after breakfast and dinner are preferable time.
This should be continued for 5 days without missing a single dose.
One should take plenty of oral fluids when on this medicine.
You may take Ranitidine twice daily to avoid acidity.
Having boiled (20 minutes) and cooled water and fresh home-made food only -may help you to have NO loose motions again and again.
