Thanks for the query.I understand your concern.
The knot at your knee joint can be treated...but before that it needs to be investigated for its nature &origin.
It could be joint inflammation(arthritis) /a synovial membrane cyst, it can be from cartilage - injured years back or it can be a bony spur(random growth of osteophytes)
* Few blood examinations ,x ray or CT scan done as per advise of an Orthopedic surgeon after detailed local examination.would reveal the cause...& can be specific treatment (oral medicines,local injection ,physiotherapy or surgery..whatever is recommended by expert.
