Question : A Female 66 yrs with medical history of -URETHRAL STENOSIS WITH BLADDER OUTLET OBSTRUCTION WITH URAEMIA in 07/06/2012 , CYSTOSCOPY AND OTIS VIU & DILATATION DONE . Kindly advise of the prognosis and future complications with medical test to be done for evaluation

Hello XXXXXXX and welcome to HCM.
As an Urologist, i can understand your concern.

This lady is having B.O.O.,with urethral stenosis and CRF,of five years duration.
The prognosis will depend on her present general condition and reports of tests .

She's needs to see an Urologist and do the following tests :
1. urine routine,culture and ACR.
2. blood routine,creatinine,RBS,LFT,platelets and electrolytes.
3. uroflowmetry.
4. ultrasound-KUB,with residual urine.
5. cystoscopy finding,if done in last one month.

If she's on any daily medication,kindly write that.
