Question: I need a five star experienced gastroenterologist who can fix a hietal herna and also provide cryosurgery (ablation) on my Barrets. ... If it's needed. I'm scared. It's been two years since I've had endoscopy. It seems like lately everything is giving me esophagitis. I want to be treated at XXXX not here in XXXX where I now live. Can you help direct me to the right Doctor? Sincerely XXXX

1. Barretts is a pre malignant condition.
But, what you are doing is absolutely right.

2. You have to undergo serial Endoscopies.

3. And Biopsy too, in case of doubtful lesions present if any.
This will tell us whether it's progressing to cancerous condition.

4. I am sorry but I am not aware of doctors in your place. I would suggest you to consult the hospital and then meet a Gastrointestinal Surgeon or Physician.
