Question: Hi Doctor,
A 15 year old girl had undergone Alcapa repair for CHD and anomalous left coronary artery at age of 3 month
Normal growth and development since then
Chest X ray -CTR 55% normal lung vascularity
Echo- Good ante grade flow in the coronaries. Mildly calcified papillary muscles of LV with moderate mitral regurgitation.
Good ventricular function.
Please share your opinion on the prognosis of this case

Hello,

As the growth and development of the child have been normal till date along with normal X-ray and Echo study so taking into consideration the overall scenario long term prognosis looks good.

The important thing is that she has to be on proper regular medication and timely follow-ups with a treating Cardiologist.
