Question: Im a 15 year old girl who has been getting lower back pain for over 2 weeks now. My mom thought it was due to my weight, so i lost over 5 pounds in the past 4 days. I have tried stretching, putting on heat and cool, and loosing weight. Sometimes its so bad it hurts to move my legs, sitting, standing or just moving.

Hi,

Thanks for your query.

It would have been better if you had posted the following details too. They would have helped me in understanding your problem better.

1. Do you play any sports?
2. Does it pain when you bend etc?
3. Does the pain move around?
4. Do you have a normal menstrual cycle?
5. Where is the exact location of the pain?
5. What's your current height and weight?
6. Have you had any Xrays/MRI scan etc in the past for this problem?

Awaiting your reply.
