Question : My wife is facing severe pain throat, she feels pain even while drinking water. Please suggest something as we can't go to nearest Dr now.

Brief Answer: Pharyngitis Detailed Answer: Hi, Thanks for your query. Pharyngitis is commonest cause for throat pain. She needs antibiotics to get completely cured from the infection. Meanwhile she can gargle with antiseptic solution like Chlorhexidine thrice daily after food. This will not only prevent progression, also helps in curing the same. Regards,
