                                    Brief Answer:
Subcutaneous hemorrhage.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,XXXX,
Welcome to HCM.
I am Dr Rakesh Sharma answering your query.
Thanks for your query and photo of the bruise.
I have gone through your details, and seems to be a subcutaneous hemorrhagic patch.
This may have caused by a small unnoticed friction or injury.
Are you on aspirin , anti coagulants or any other pain killers tablet for some or other reason?
Because these drugs cause bleeding in age induced fragile underlying blood capillaries.
In these type of cases I advice patients to apply ice compress on it. and avoid medication for time being.
Please let me know if you are on any medication.
Waiting for reply.
Good wishes.

                                    Brief Answer:
Medicines may not be reasons.
Detailed Answer:
Hello again,
Thanks for prompt reply.
Your medicines may not be reason for your bruise.
I would suggest you to keep applying ice and put some moisturizer or antiseptic lotion on it.
It may start fading away in about 2-3 days time.
Mean while it may start itching a bit while drying, but you keep applying your lotion.
If it shows any other sign of increases in size you may have to contact a dermatologist.
Hope I have answered your query, if any thing else, you are welcome or you can close the question by rating the answer.
Good wishes.
