Brief Answer:
Following advice.

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you for asking!
I read your query very carefully and understood your concerns.

Unfortunately for your husband the disease has progressed to severe heart failure with an ejection fraction of 20%. The disease prognosis and life expectancy is poor. Overall survival rates after five years are less than 20% of patients.

Other factors which contribute to a poor prognosis are diabetes and renal damage. Stabilizing diabetes and renal parameters will help to improve his life expectancy.

The pacemaker and resyncronisation therapy with defibrillator insertion (IDC) which has been proposed to him tend to improve cardiac function, quality of life and life expectancy.

This is why it's essential to do the proposed procedures.

Hope this will be of help!
Wish you health!
